Mr. Roshon Morgan is a native of Galveston, Texas. Prior to his current role as principal, he served as an assistant principal for 4 years, a special education team leader for 8 ½ years and taught for 13 ½ years. Mr. Morgan holds a Bachelor of Science in Corrections from Langston University, and a Master of Education in Educational Administration from Prairie View A&M University. His educational philosophy is grounded in the belief that every student can learn, deserves the opportunity to do so, and will succeed when provided with the right resources and supported by qualified, dedicated adults who share a unified vision.
Throughout his career, he has consistently served variety of communities. He believes in coaching and developing teachers by enhancing their content knowledge and equipping them with best practices to deliver high-quality instruction while supporting students' social and emotional needs. Mr. Morgan leads with support, inspiration, upholds high expectations, and models best practices for all stakeholders. He wholeheartedly believes that we should set goals, aim high, and be the best version of ourselves each day
