Activity Participation Requirements

To ensure the health, safety, and success of all students, McGowen Elementary School requires the following for participation in any extracurricular/after-school activities:

  • Parent/Guardian Consent: A signed permission form allowing participation in school activities and after-school programs.

  • Academic Eligibility: Students must maintain passing grades in all classes, meeting district and UIL eligibility standards.

  • Behavior Expectations: Students are expected to demonstrate respect, responsibility, and positive behavior during all school-sponsored activities, both on and off campus.

  • Attendance: Regular school attendance is required to participate in all practices, games, and extracurricular activities.
